Cutting Through the Noise: Why I Started Built Wellness

In today’s world, we’re drowning in information. Scroll through your phone and you’ll see endless fitness trends, conflicting nutrition advice, and a new “must-try” routine every week. It’s a lot — and more often than not, it leads to confusion, burnout, or decision fatigue.
What’s missing for a lot of people isn’t motivation — it’s structure, clarity, and something real.
That’s why I created Built Wellness.
Before all of this, I was an athlete. I played baseball at Penn State, and that experience shaped how I view health and fitness today. Through the game, I learned the value of hard work, dedication, and structure — the kind of foundation that stands the test of time. It taught me that consistency beats trends, and that results come from showing up with purpose, not from shortcuts or quick fixes.
After college, like many former athletes, I transitioned into a 9–5 lifestyle. But even as my schedule changed, my passion for fitness and health only grew. I wanted to keep learning and keep helping — so I became a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I later went on to earn my Master’s in Kinesiology from Grand Canyon University, diving deeper into the science behind movement, recovery, and long-term health.
And that’s what Built Wellness is all about.
This platform was created to help people find structure in the chaos.
It’s built on three key pillars:
🧱 Practical fitness — Training that fits into real life, not just highlight reels.
🌿 Sustainable health — Nutrition, movement, and habits that are built to last.
💤 Smart recovery — Because rest isn’t a reward, it’s a requirement.
Built Wellness is personal. I didn’t build this to scale endlessly or to push generic programs — I built it to help real people build strong, sustainable habits and a healthy life that actually lasts.
At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief: personal connection changes everything. I want to work with people, not just coach them. Fitness and nutrition are just tools — you are the priority.
This is more than workouts and macros. This is about creating a healthier, more confident version of yourself — one day, one rep, one habit at a time.
